The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the July 14 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a proposed Erosion and Sedimentation Control General Permit for Earth Disturbance Associated With Oil and Gas Exploration and related facilities. DEP said it is not proposing significant changes to the permit. Click Here for a copy of the proposed General Permit. Comments are due August 13. Comments may be submitted through DEP’s eComment webpage, by sending email to: ecomment@pa.gov. Written comments can be submitted to the Policy Office, Department of Environmental Protection, Rachel Carson State Office Building, P.O. Box 2063, Harrisburg, PA 17105-2063.
