The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the July 14 PA Bulletin related to Court-ordered changes to compliance deadlines for registering and upgrading existing impoundments related to unconventional natural gas drilling operations.

A Commonwealth Court order extended the deadline to register existing impoundments to August 27, 2018.  Existing impoundments have until June 28, 2019 to upgrade to meet the new impoundment requirements in 25 Pa Code Section 78a59b(b).
