On October 16 from Noon to 1:00 p.m., Penn State Extension will host a webinar on the Role Community Forest Managers Can Play In MS4 Stormwater Pollution Reduction.

Andy Yencha, Extension Educator, explains the purpose of municipal separate storm sewer systems, the requirements DEP places on some communities when it comes to their stormwater management activities, the benefits of separating municipal sanitary and storm sewer systems to protect surface and groundwater quality, and the large role Community Forest Managers play in educating, forming policy  and taking on-site actions for improving stormwater management.
