$52 Million in Wastewater, Drinking Water, Brownfields Projects Funded

The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority this week announced the investment of $52 million in drinking water, wastewater, stormwater and brownfields projects in 17 counties. The projects approved ranged from a $125,000 loan to a water authority in Clinton County to drill exploratory wells and design a drinking water line, to an $11 million loan to a community in Clearfield County that is planning to replace nearly all of its sewage collection system to eliminate wet weather discharges of untreated sewage into the West Branch of the Susquehanna River.
