Photo

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Thursday Fall Foliage Report said Pennsylvania is now experiencing the most vivid colors of foliage across wide areas of the state.

Excellent color is being reported from central Pennsylvania extending through the southeastern reaches of the state.

Good fall color remains in the northwest and southern Pocono region, as well. Yellow is the dominant theme, originating from birches, maples, hickories, oaks, and beech.
