PA Environment Digest has become a sponsor of the combined 2019 PA Abandoned Mine Reclamation and National Abandoned Mine Lands Program Conference to be held in Pittsburgh on September 8-11. With the theme of Restore, Transform, Revitalize, the Conference will for the first time bring together the National Association of Abandoned Mine Land Programs, the National Association of State Land Reclamationists and Pennsylvania’s own Statewide Abandoned Mine Reclamation community. These three organizations share common goals and interests focused on successful reclamation and environmental restoration of previously and currently mined sites including the abatement or treatment of mine drainage. The multi-organization focus will provide conference attendees a broader range of mining and reclamation topics and issues from across the United States as well as increased opportunities for both networking and sponsor & exhibitor outreach.
