PA Solar Center Invites Responses To RFP To Assist Nonprofit Groups In Converting To Solar Energy

The Pennsylvania Solar Center of New Sun Rising based in Millvale, Allegheny County are inviting nonprofit groups in Western Pennsylvania to respond to the G.E.T. Solar Initiative RFP on assisting them to make the process of converting to solar energy straightforward and simple. The deadline for responses is January 11. The assistance the Center will provide includes-- -- A solar feasibility study by Dr. Jeffrey Brownson’s Penn State engineering solar analysis class. -- Assistance in selecting a qualified solar contractor; and -- Detailed financial saving projections and connection to our investment partner Sunvestment who can provide financing, including options that require minimal or no-money down by the nonprofit. The Pennsylvania Solar Center is a statewide solar energy resource hub and assistance center that provides unbiased information and catalytic organizing in an effort to transform the Commonwealth into a leading solar state. PSC will provide technical assistance to nonprofits and small businesses-- shepherding them through the solar purchase process and connecting them to qualified installers and financing.
