CANCELED-PA PFAS Action Team Meets Feb. 12 In Montgomery County To Provide Updates, Hear Public Comments

[CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER, WILL BE RESCHEDULED.] The PFAS Action Team will hold a public meeting on February 12 from 6:15-9:00 p.m. at the Upper Dublin High School in Fort Washington, Montgomery County. “At this meeting we will hear updates from DEP on a sampling plan to identify potentially contaminated drinking water sources and from the Department of Health on the pilot study for blood levels,” said DEP Secretary Patrick McDonnell. Representatives from local governments and utilities will also present on the challenges of managing PFAS chemicals, as well as working with the commonwealth and the federal government to address cleanup. Commenters are asked to present no more than three minutes of remarks. Residents unable to attend or who would like to submit remarks in writing can use DEP’s eComment system.
