A special “Regional Planning Comes of Age” Conference will be held in New Brunswick, New Jersey on September 28-29 to explore the promise and practice of regional land use planning in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast States.

The conference is being held in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the Pinelands Comprehensive Management Plan.

Seminars will address topics such as transfer of development rights, growth management tools, protecting water resources, using regional planning to preserve historic and cultural resources and cooperative planning across political boundaries.
