Westmoreland County Cleanways & Recycling this week highlighted several upcoming collection and cleanup events in the county--

-- April 13: Discount for bringing waste tires to Recycling Center, 113 Innovative Lane (Building F), Latrobe;

-- April-May: Schedule of Community Cleaning featuring electronics waste collection;

-- May 4: Celebrate Earth Day at the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve;

-- May 6: Backyard Composting Workshop In Sewickley Township; and

-- June 29: Household Hazardous Waste Collection.
