House Committee To Hear From Labor, Electricity Ratepayers, Energy Suppliers On Bill To Aid Nuclear Power Plants April 29

On April 29, the House Consumer Affairs Committee is scheduled to hear testimony from electric ratepayers, retail energy suppliers and labor at its third hearing on House Bill 11 (Mehaffie-R- Lancaster) to provide financial support for nuclear power plants.

Expected to present testimony are--

-- Tony Cusati and Kristina Montgomery, Retail Energy Supply Association;

-- Mike Peters and Rod Williamson, PA Energy Consumer Alliance/Industrial Energy Consumers of PA; and

-- Kris Anderson, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
