The PA Environmental Council is now accepting applications for mini-grants of up to $500 to help community organizations and trail groups celebrate Pennsylvania Trails Month in September 2019.  Applications are due May 15.

Nonprofit organizations, municipalities, counties, and educational institutions planning single-day, public land trail events during the month of September are encouraged to apply.

An expansive definition of “trails” may be applied; however, eligible activities will emphasize human-powered recreation on public lands.

Award recipients should expect to be notified by the first week of June 2019.

The funding for these grants is provided through DCNR’s Environmental Stewardship Fund.
