Berks County Water Week - Because Clean Water Matters, August 3-10

Berks Water Week, hosted by the Penn State Extension Berks County Master Watershed Stewards, will be celebrated from August 3 through 10 at venues throughout Berks County.  

Special events all week will shine a spotlight on our freshwater resources and the conservation efforts being done to protect them. Area organizations will hold water-themed events a multiple locations.

Events include--

-- A water celebration at the Reading Public Museum with planetarium shows on Sunday, August 4;

-- A community drum circle with Earth Rhythms in Nolde Forest Environmental Ed Center on Tuesday, August 6;

-- A creek study with the Robesonia Library on Thursday, August 8; and

-- A Macroinvertebrate Mayhem at Cacoosing Creek Park, also on August 8.
