The Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art will hold its annual Nature and Arts Festival on July 27 and this year for the first time the Festival will be held in and around the Center at 176 Water Company Road, Millersburg, Dauphin County from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Since 1994, the Center has held its annual festival, which began as the “Ned Smith Tribute Festival.” Now, 25 years later, this event is still going strong, bringing free family-friendly, educational entertainment to thousands of people.

Although elements of the festival have changed over the years, certain favorite activities have become permanent fixtures, like the make-it-yourself bluebird boxes, live-animal demonstrations and fish-print t-shirts.

Visit the Nature and Arts Festival webpage for more on programs, vendor and exhibitor registrations and sponsorships.  The Festival is presented with the help of Riverview Bank.

For more information on programs, initiative, exhibits and upcoming musical and educational programs, visit the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art website.

The Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art was founded in 1993 to celebrate the life and works of its namesake, the nationally recognized wildlife artist, naturalist and writer Ned Smith.  Click Here to watch a PA Conservation Heritage/WITF documentary about his life.
