DEP Sets Hearings [If Needed] On RACT II Air Quality Plans For Facilities In Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection published notices in the July 27 PA Bulletin announcing public hearings [if needed] on RACT II Air Quality Plans for facilities in Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery counties. Bucks County DEP will hold a hearing [if needed] on the RACT II Plan for Exelon Generation Company Croydon Generation Station in Bristol Township, Bucks County on September 4 at DEP’s Southeast Regional Office, 2 East Main Street in Norristown starting at 2:00 p.m. (PA Bulletin, page 3937). To register to speak at the hearing, or to inquire if a hearing will be held, contact Virginia Cain, Environmental Community Relations Specialist at 484-250-5808. The last day to pre-register to speak at the hearing will be August 31, 2019. If DEP does not receive any pre-registered speakers by this date, the hearing will be canceled. Contact Virginia Cain or visit DEP Southeast Regional Office RACT II webpage to see if the hearing is still being held. Public comments will be accepted by DEP until August 1. Delaware County DEP will hold a hearing [if needed] on the RACT II Plan for Monroe Energy in Trainer Borough, Delaware County on September 4 at DEP’s Southeast Regional Office, 2 East Main Street in Norristown starting at 10:00 a.m. (PA Bulletin, page 3935). To register to speak at the hearing, or to inquire if a hearing will be held, contact Virginia Cain, Environmental Community Relations Specialist at 484-250-5808.
