The PA Association of Environmental Educators and the PA Recreation and Parks Society will hold a joint PAEE/PRPS Conference and Expo on March 17 to 20 at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Somerset County.
The combined conference with the theme-- Live, Learn, Play-- will provide new opportunities to learn from a broad network of outdoor professionals.
The Joint Conference will feature Richard Louv, a journalist and author of nine books, including Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder; The Nature Principle; and Vitamin N.
Translated and published in 24 countries, his books have helped launch an international movement to connect families and communities to nature.
