Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Hosts Migration Madness Youth Workshop Aug. 20

Discover and celebrate the magic and mystery of migration at the August 20 Migration Madness Youth Workshop at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Berks County.

From birds to bats, and toads to salamanders, your kids will explore why so many different types of animals embark on migratory journeys in this interactive and exciting workshop.

Participants will also investigate the techniques and technology that Hawk Mountain scientists use to study raptor migration!

Hiking, art, games, and more will make this day an unforgettable experience.

Designed for children in primary school. Students must wear closed-toed shoes and bring a packed lunch and water bottle.

The Workshop will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hawk Mountain Education Building. The cost is $50 per child.
