Center For Coalfield Justice, Partners Hosting Greene County Solar Festival Sept. 28

The Center for Coalfield Justice and Solar United Neighbors are hosting the Greene County Solar Festival on September 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Greene County Fairgrounds, 107 Fairgrounds Road in Waynesburg. Learn more about solar energy and the impact it can have on your personal life and on the future of Greene County. Visitors will have an opportunity to talk to solar installers about recent advancements in solar technology, to get an up-close look at electric vehicle models from various local dealers, and to hear from Greene County residents who have recently gone solar so that folks can better understand the process. But this festival isn’t just about solar energy! Activities and music will be featured throughout the day. Festival attendees can expect a wide variety of local vendors selling food, crafts, and goods. In addition, organizations will showcase the work that they’ve been doing in the region.
