On September 19, the Public Utility Commission issued a Secretarial Letter dismissing the complaint filed by Sen. Andy Dinniman (D-Chester) against the Mariner East Pipelines in Chester County as required by a September 9 Commonwealth Court decision. The PUC also “dissolved” the interim emergency injunction that resulted from Sen. Dinniman and the follow up actions and the docket numbers C-2018-3001451 and P-2018-3001453 closed. However, a similar complaint filed by the Andover Homeowners’ Association, Inc. against Sunoco Pipeline for similar issues with the Mariner East Pipelines which was originally consolidated with Sen. Dinniman’s complaint was formally “bifurcated” from the Dinniman complaint by the Secretarial letter and will be returned to the Office of Administrative Law Judge for further proceedings.
