DEP Invites Comments On Water Quality Certification For Tri-State Corridor Pipeline In Washington County

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the October 12 PA Bulletin inviting comments on the proposed Section 410 Water Quality Certification for the Equitrans Tri-State Corridor Pipeline to traverse Jefferson, Cross Creek, Smith and Robinson townships in Washington County (Oct. 12 PA Bulletin page 6025)

The Project includes an approximately 16.7-mile long (16.4 of which is in Pennsylvania), 16-inch natural gas pipeline to transport natural gas from the Rover Pipeline LLC and two non-jurisdictional pipelines at the Trinity Interconnect Site to a combined-cycle power facility (Power Facility) in Brooke County, WV.
