2019 PA Women’s Agricultural Network Symposium Set For Dec. 18 At Temple University

Join the Pennsylvania Women’s Agricultural Network December 18 for their Annual Symposium at the Howard Gittis Student Center at Temple University, 1755 N. 13th Street in Philadelphia from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Symposium will feature keynote speakers Audra Mulkern, creator of The Female Farmer Project, and Leah Penniman, co-director of Soul Fire Farm and author of Farming While Black.

The feature sessions will include seed keeping, herbal medicine, recipes and growing traditions, land liberation and urban agriculture, equity and actionable research, and more!

The day before the symposium (December 17), Longwood Gardens will be hosting an optional tour between 1:30–7:30 p.m. ($20 fee).
