Here are highlights of actions taken by agencies on environmental regulations, technical guidance and permits.

Regulations -----------------------

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the October 19 PA Bulletin inviting comments on a proposed State Air Quality Implementation Plan revision and second maintenance plan for the Clearfield/Indiana area related to ozone attainment.  A public hearing has been scheduled for November 22 at the Moshannon District Office in Philipsburg.

The Public Utility Commission published notice in the October 19 PA Bulletin setting the schedule for electric and natural gas utilities to submit Energy Conservation and Universal Service Plans and related impact evaluations.

Technical Guidance -------------------

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the October 19 PA Bulletin inviting comments on draft technical guidance on Radioactivity Monitoring at Solid Waste Processing and Disposal Facilities adding provisions related to the oil and gas industry (DEP ID: 250-3100-001).

Permits ------------

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission published notice in the October 19 PA Bulletin of water project actions taken at its September 6 public meeting.
