NOAA Holds Nov. 12 Meeting In Delaware County On Evaluating DEP’s Coastal Resources Management Program

On November 12, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration will hold a public meeting to receive comments as part of its performance evaluation of DEP’s Coastal Resources Management Program(formal notice)

NOAA requires period evaluations of the performance of state Coastal Resources Management Programs in addressing coastal needs.

Pennsylvania’s coastal areas include the Lake Erie Coastal Zone and the Delaware Estuary Coastal Zone.

The meeting will be held at the Ridley Township Marina, 500 North Lane, Ridley Park in Delaware County starting at 6:30 p.m.

NOAA will be accepting comments through December 12 on the evaluation.  Written comments can be submitted to Ralph Cantral, Senior Advisor, NOAA Office for Coastal Management, 2234 South Hobson Avenue, Charleston, SC 29405-2413 or by email to: Ralph.Cantral@noaa.gov.
