PennFuture Now Accepting Nominations For Women In Conservation Awards From Southwest PA

PennFuture is now accepting nominations for its 6th Annual Women In Conservation Awards, this year focused on Southwest Pennsylvania.  Nominations are due February 28.

The Awards are designed to encourage continuing excellence in conservation and to forge a stronger network of exceptional women working to protect Pennsylvania’s environment.

The Award categories include--

-- Woman of the Watershed            

-- Woman of Environmental Justice

-- Woman of Climate and Renewable Energy

-- Woman of Environmental Education      

-- Woman of Environmental Arts

-- Woman of Environmental Media, Marketing, and Communications

-- Young Woman of Conservation Leadership

-- Woman with Lifetime Achievement in Conservation

Those individuals nominated must be from/work in the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Somerset, and Washington.

Individuals may nominate up to eight women, including themselves, with one nomination per category.
