Interested in volunteering to become a Master Watershed Steward?  Learn more by attending one of the upcoming information meetings in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon or York counties.

Volunteers help improve the health of waterways throughout the state of Pennsylvania. This free public information meeting will introduce the training program and volunteer requirements for the registrant's respective county.

Master Watershed Stewards--

-- Organize educational events, workshops, and community walks

-- Plant trees

-- Restore streams and sample water quality

-- Host stream and trash clean-ups

-- Design demonstration rain gardens

-- Advocate for clean waters and environmental justice

-- Work with municipal officials to plant native meadows

Don’t see your county?  The Master Watershed Steward Program is active in a growing number of counties, including-- Allegheny, Berks, Bucks, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lackawanna, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Wyoming and York counties.
