EQB Submits Final Triennial Review Of Water Quality Standards, Federal Mining Consistency Rule To IRRC, Committees For Review

On December 30, the Environmental Quality Board submitted the Final Triennial Review Of Water Quality Standards (7-534) and federal surface mining consistency(7-532)  regulations to the Independent Regulatory Review Commission and the House and Senate Environmental Committees for review.

The IRRC is tentatively scheduled to consider the regulations on January 31.  To follow IRRC consideration of the regulations, visit the IRRC website.

Copies of the regulations and supporting documents can be found on the Environmental Quality Board webpage under the November 19 meeting information.
