DEP Hosts Hearings [If Needed] On RACT II Air Quality Plans For Facilities In Erie, Venango, Warren, York Counties

The Department of Environmental Protection will host hearings [if needed] on RACT II Air Quality Plans for Molded Fiber Glass Company in Erie County, Sasol Chemicals in Venango County, United Refining Company in Warren County and Pixelle Speciality Solutions in York County in February.

Erie County

DEP will host a February 11 hearing [if needed] on the RACT II Air Quality Plan for the Molded Fiber Glass Company facility in Union City Borough, Erie County.  (Jan. 4 PA Bulletin page 101)

The hearing will be held at the DEP Northwest Regional Office, 230 Chestnut Street in Meadville starting at 10:00.

To request a hearing, to register to speak at a hearing, or to inquire if a hearing will be held, please contact Tom Decker at 814-332-6615. The last day to pre-register to speak at a hearing will be February 4.

If the Department does not receive any pre-registered speakers by this date, the hearing will be canceled.

Venango County

DEP will host a February 6 hearing [if needed] on the RACT II Air Quality Plan for the Sasol Chemicals LLC plant located in Cornplanter Township, Venango County. (Jan. 4 PA Bulletin page 58)

The hearing will be held at the DEP Northwest Regional Office, 230 Chestnut Street in Meadville starting at 10:00.

The hearing will be held at the DEP Southcentral Regional Office, 909 Elmerton Avenue in Harrisburg starting at 10:00.
