PA Assn. Of Conservation Districts Releases Highlights Of Conservation District Accomplishments in 2019

The PA Association of Conservation Districts released its Highlights of Conservation District Activities in 2019 which provides a district-by-district summary of accomplishments during last year.

The reports cover programs like Dirt and Gravel Roads, farm best management practices, emergency watershed protection, mine reclamation, working with landowners to develop manure management and erosion control plans, dealing with invasive species, litter cleanups, tree sales, spotted lanternfly control, conducting educational workshops on resource protection, West Nile Virus, forest management, watershed restoration projects, pond and lake management, farmland preservation, water resources planning and much more.

Each district’s programs are tailored to meet the needs of that county.
