Intern Wanted: Trout Unlimited Biological Field Intern, Lock Haven

Trout Unlimited's PA Coldwater Habitat Restoration Program is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Biological Field Intern position based in Lock Haven, Clinton County.  The deadline for applications is March 8.

Qualifications for this position include being a current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in environmental science, fish and wildlife biology, biology, ecology, or related field of study.

Responsibilities include--

-- Collect field data through activities such as electrofishing, benthic macroinvertebrate surveys, water quality sampling, and fish habitat surveys.

-- Assist in stream habitat improvement projects.

-- Provide data entry and database management, as well as prepare maps and assist with reports.

-- Represent TU and its mission when meeting with landowners, volunteers, and other partners.
