On March 19, the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce announced the cancellation of the Sinnemahone Canoe and Kayak Classic on Saturday April 4. 

The decision to cancel is to keep safety crews, competitors and volunteers and their families safe from COVID-19 and stop the spread of the Coronavirus.

Those that have pre-registered may defer their payment for the 2021 race or apply it to the Sinnemahone Gravel Bike Race in September or the Sinnemahone Trail Run in October, or request refunds. 

The committee thanks everyone for their understanding in this matter.  Individuals are always free to experience the waterways of Cameron County at any time on their own.
