The following bills were given final approval by the Senate and House and are now on the Governor's desk for action--

Natural Gas Use Subsidy: House Bill 1100 (Kaufer-R-Luzerne)-- which would provide unlimited taxpayer-funded subsidies of natural gas use in manufacturing through a new tax credit. The Governor vetoed the bill.  Click Here for more.

Transfer Of Funds: House Bill 1232 (Dunbar-R-Westmoreland) amending the Fiscal Code to move tax filing and payment dates to July 15, making related changes to local tax codes and authorizing the transfer of $50 million from special funds under the Governor’s jurisdiction to pay for emergency equipment needed to combat COVID-19 to the extent federal funds are inadequate. (House Fiscal Note & Summary).  The bill was signed into law as Act 10.
