Green Amendments For The Generations Holds Special Preview Of The Environmental Rights Amendment Story April 22

Green Amendments For The Generations is hosting a special online preview of the PBS Program Here's The Story: The Green Amendment on April 22 with special events from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

While Pennsylvania has had a voter-adopted Environmental Rights Amendment since 1971, 48 other states and the federal government do not.

The Green Amendments For The Generations is a movement started by the Delaware RiverKeeper Network to promote the adoption of similar amendments in all the states and to the federal constitution.

The new PBS program Here's The Story: The Green Amendment describes how the movement started and where it's going.

Schedule Of Events

-- 9:00 to 9:00: the PBS program by Emmy nominated producer Steve Rogers will be available for viewing online.

-- Noon: Join Maya van Rossum, Delaware RiverKeeper and former Senator Franklin Kury, the author of Pennsylvania’s Environmental Rights Amendment for a live Facebook Q/A.

-- 2:00: Join Maya and Dr. Anthony Ingaffea, Professor of Engineering Emeritus at Cornell University for a live Facebook Q/A.

-- 5:30: Join Maya for a live Facebook Q/A.
