The Huntingdon County Conservation District is posting a series of virtual field trips on its Facebook page to help local students, teachers and residents.

It’s the District’s way of helping the general public care more about the natural world by learning about it.

One of the first tours features Watershed Specialist Logan Stenger in Standing Stone Creek taking macroinvertebrate samples from the stream.

For information on assistance available to farmers, landowners and on upcoming events and educational opportunities, visit the Huntingdon County Conservation District website.
