Altria Group, Inc., the parent company of Kraft Foods, Philip Morris International and Philip Morris USA, is pleased to announce the 2004 Environment Request for Proposal (RFP) to address clean water issues. Grant applications are due September 30.

Reducing and preventing impairments within water systems is a complex issue. Within any one watershed a multitude of sources contribute to water quality and these vary by day and season. These causes range from the effects of non-point source pollution (erosion, agricultural and urban run-off) to point source discharge from facilities and wastewater treatment centers.
