Audubon Pennsylvania and local Audubon Chapters in Pennsylvania are hosting a series of virtual field trips every Wednesday at noon to highlight conservation work done by members around the state. May 20 Join Eli DePaulis from Appalachian Audubon Society for a tour of the Trout Run Nature Preserve in Cumberland County. Trout Run is a 21.4 acre spring-fed wetland and upland ecosystem, protected and owned by the Appalachian Audubon Society. It is home to many different kinds of birds, plants and wildlife - a green oasis in an increasingly developed area. The wetland has been classified as an "exceptional value" site, due to the confirmed nesting years ago of a threatened PA bird species - the Sedge Wren, and the sightings of two other "species of concern" in PA, the Least Bittern and the Dickcissel.
