The Pennsylvania Organization for Watersheds and Rivers invites friends and members to an open house at its office in Harrisburg on October 10.

The open house will be held at the POWR office, located at 610 North Third Street in Harrisburg, starting at 12:00 noon. The annual meeting (for members) will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

During the annual meeting, members will elect new board members for the 2007-2009 term, and bid farewell to rotating directors Jan Jarrett, Tom Kerr, Mary Hirst and Susan Obleski will be going off the Board.

If you are not a POWR member, feel free to drop by the open house to tour POWR’s office space and chat with the staff and board. Light refreshments will be provided.

Visit the POWR website to download a membership application and become eligible to learn of POWR’s successes firsthand and have a say in the election of board members who will help steer POWR’s course over the coming years.
