With ongoing recycling efforts related to the Newspaper Readership Program at University Park, $7,418 this year has been raised for a recycling scholarship that is part of the Board of Trustees Matching Scholarship Program.

Since its inception, the Program has raised $74,859 for scholarships.

The program was established in 2002 to help students who demonstrate financial aid, provides 5 percent matching funds for private gifts at or above the $50,000 endowment level.
