Lehigh Valley Watershed Conference Set for October 6

The Lehigh and Northampton Conservation Districts, Wildlands Conservancy, Lehigh University and PA Trout are joining forces to put on the Lehigh Valley Watershed Conference on October 6 at Iacocca Hall at Lehigh University. The conference is intended to create a forum to share ideas and strategies to improve and protect the greater The conference will bring together watershed groups, municipal officials, educators, scientists, technical experts, agencies, industry representatives, and the public to discuss effective ways to clean up watersheds, forge partnerships and maximize the natural resources in the greater Participants will be involved in large and small group discussions and presentations to promote technical information exchanges and highlight the successful efforts of local watershed organizations involved in watershed protection and sustainable remediation efforts. All interested local watershed organizations, elected and municipal officials, planning commissions, Environmental Advisory Council members, agency representatives, local educators, scientists, graduate students and the general public are invited.
