Water Reuse Workshop to be Held November 2 in Exton

American Rivers and the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association have developed a workshop on water reuse to be held November 2 at the Inn at Chester Springs in Exton, Chester County.

Municipal officials and advisors responsible for wastewater and stormwater management won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear the latest from experts and colleagues. Speakers include fellow municipal officials who have developed innovative techniques for handling wastewater and stormwater, such as Cory Miller, from the University Area Joint Authority in State College, and Upper Uwchlan manager, John Roughan, Jr.

The workshop is especially geared toward southeast Pennsylvania, and will also include presentations by Jan Bowers, of the Chester County Water Resources Authority, as well as Nicki Kasi of the Department of Environmental Protection and Paul Marchetti, executive director of PENNVEST.

Co-sponsors of the program include the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors , PENNVEST, the Department of Environmental Protection, the PA League of Cities and Municipalities, and PA Organization for Watersheds and Rivers.

Refreshments will be served, starting at 8:30 a.m., and the program begins at 9:00 a.m. Lunch is included in the $20 registration fee.
