The Crawford County Conservation District has produced a new video describing a wetland and wetland systems and why they are so important to protecting water quality, preventing flooding and to promoting ecosystem biodiversity.

The video also points out why it’s important to contact your local conservation district or DEP before a wetland is disturbed by development.
