September Eastern & Western Trail Summits Go Virtual

Join Pennsylvania’s trail community in a series of virtual trail summits in September.

The Eastern PA Greenways and Trails Summit features virtual sessions about trail management, as well as small, in-person mobile workshops at trails and parks in eastern Pennsylvania.

The virtual workshops will be held Wednesdays in September and the mobile workshops will be held on Fridays.

Those in Western Pennsylvania may want to register for the Laurel Highlands Conservation Landscape Trail Summit. This two-day virtual summit takes place Tuesday-Wednesday, September 22-23.

Topics include technology’s impact on trails and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in trail recreation.

Both summits are free, but registration is required. The summits are put on by the PA Environmental Council and funded in part by DCNR.
