Here are highlights of actions taken by agencies on environmental regulations, technical guidance and permits 

Regulations -----------------------

The Governor’s Office published an updated agency by agency Regulatory Agenda showing regulations in development and an approximate timeline for action in the October 3 PA Bulletin.

The Department of Environmental Protection publishes its own Regulatory Agenda showing regulations in development last updated  and a Non-Regulatory Agenda showing the status of technical guidance in development both last updated in July.

No new regulations were published this week.  Pennsylvania Bulletin - October 3, 2020

Technical Guidance -------------------

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the October 3 PA Bulletin of proposed technical guidance on Civil Penalty Assessments for Coal Mining Operations for public comment.  Comments due November 2.

Permits ------------

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the October 3 PA Bulletin of an extension of the Residual Waste General Permit WMGR123 for three months until January 4, 2021 due to the volume of comments on proposed revisions.

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission published notices in the October 3 PA Bulletin on actions taken at the September meeting; notice of water withdrawals registered as grandfathered projects during August; and projects approved for consumptive uses of water during August.
