DEP’s Cleanup Standards Scientific Advisory Board is scheduled to hold a virtual meeting December 16 on a final regulation setting soil and water cleanup standards for PFOS/PFOA/PFAS contamination and a cleanup level for lead found in soil.

The regulation was published for public comment in February and DEP held three public hearings on the proposal.  Read more here.

DEP met with the Cleanup Advisory Board on July 30 to go over the public comments received on the proposal.  Click Here to review the approximately 140 comments submitted via the eComment webpage.

The handouts for the December 16 meeting include draft final text for the regulation.
