The Pittsburgh-based Group Against Smog And Pollution will host a January 14 webinar on Making the Connection - Home Hazards and Your Health from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
What if we told you that your home could have invisible environmental dangers that could potentially cause your loved ones’ health ailments?
What if we further told you there are ways to test for these hazards and steps that can be taken to mitigate the risks?
We hope your answer would be, “Well, sign me up!” because GASP has a full slate of speakers lined up to discuss those home hazards – namely asbestos, lead, and radon – at our upcoming Making the Connection event.
This virtual event will feature presentations from the Allegheny County Health Department, Women for a Healthy Environment, Citizens for Radioactive Radon Reduction and ROCIS (Reducing Outdoor Contaminants in Indoor Spaces).
The event is free, but registration is required. Reserve your spot today.
For more information on programs, initiatives, upcoming events and how you can get involved, visit the Group Against Smog And Pollution website.
