Penn State Extension hosts a January 27 Water Cooler Talk: Installing and Maintaining Forest Buffers webinar from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

David Wise, Watershed Restoration Manager for Stroud Water Research, will discuss Stroud Water Research Center’s approach to integrated installation and maintenance of forested riparian buffers as well as the use of stone mulch as an alternative to herbicide spots for protecting seedlings from rodent damage.

Anyone interested in water resources, whether you work in the water field or have a general interest in water should attend.

Hear about current work happening in the water resource field and be able to ask questions and share ideas with professionals across Pennsylvania.
