Northumberland Conservation District Mosquito-Borne Disease Control Technicians

The Northumberland County Conservation District is seeking candidates for Mosquito-Borne Disease Control Technician positions.

The Technician will assist with the implementation of the Mosquito-borne Disease Control program and Integrated Mosquito Management (IMM) plan throughout a five-county area; specifically, Northumberland, Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union counties (five-county area).

Key duties include fieldwork, data collection and entry, mosquito-borne disease control activities, and coordination with Department of Environmental Protection staff.

This position is seasonal (April through the end of September).

Berks Nature Trails And Preserve Specialist

Berks Nature is looking to hire a Trails and Preserve Specialist. The Trails and Preserve Specialist is responsible for the stewardship and maintenance of real estate and trails owned or leased by Berks Nature or BCC Properties, Inc.

This position is responsible for maintaining a regular presence on our trails and preserves. This position works closely with the Senior Ecologist and the Land Protection Specialist and is responsible for monitoring, stewarding and maintaining the organization’s 424.94 leased acres, 423.35 owned acres of preserves and nearly 27 miles of trail

Brandywine Conservancy Operations Manager

The Delaware County-based Brandywine Conservancy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of part-time Operations Manager.

This position is responsible for the supervision of Conservancy operations through coordination with internal staff and serves as the conduit for Conservancy information externally to the departments of Finance, Development, Marketing, and Facilities. 

Tasks include budget oversight and tracking; contract review and deadline management; coordination between departments; and regularly collecting and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information.

The position will also involve assisting and coordinating with staff with regard to event planning and education programs, as needed.
