Volunteers are needed to help the Lebanon Valley Conservancy plant more than 800 trees this spring in Lebanon County.

Donations For Trees

In honor of Earth Day April 22, the Conservancy is also accepting donations to fund tree plantings-- $25/tree or $100 for a grove of five trees.

Click Here to donate or you can send a check to The Lebanon Valley Conservancy, 770 Cumberland St., Suite A, Lebanon, PA 17042.  Please write "tree" or "grove" in the memo line.

Thanks to CBF Action & Restoration Program Educators!

The Conservancy would like to thank the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Student Action & Restoration (StAR) Program Educators who brought a virtual program to Lebanon.

On March 23, CBF Educators, from across the bay watershed, came together to teach local students about our Quittapahilla Creek and the landscape of the Quittapahilla Education Wetland Preserve, located in the heart of Lebanon County.

Students investigated the health of the stream and how land use impacts stream health. The educators shared their on-site experience at the Preserve and talked about the life in the wetland, what impacts this ecosystem and how the students can help.

Local teachers and students participated in the program and shared the information in their classes. We hope this collaboration will inspire more on-site events with the CBF StAR team in the future.

If you would like to find out more about this educational opportunity, please visit the CBF website or email TLVC at lvconserve@lebanonvalleyconservancy.org.  Special thanks to Liz Glaston and Kassie Fern who helped to organize this great event!
