Join the PA Solar Center's executive director Sharon Pillar and Solar Ambassador Lead Phyllis Blumberg, PhD, on April 14 at 6:00 p.m. for an update about newly introduced legislation that will increase Pennsylvania's renewable energy goals.

In February, Senators Dan Laughlin (R-Erie) and Art Haywood (D-Montgomery) announced plans to introduce legislation to increase the solar share under the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards from 0.5 to 5.5 percent by 2026. Read more here.

The 0.5 percent solar share is due to remain at that level after May 2021, unless increased.

Dr. Blumberg is a long-time educator, writer and solar owner who is lending her expertise to craft effective messaging around renewable energy and climate change.
