The grant includes funding for:

-- 105kW solar garden

-- 23 mini-split heat/air conditioning units (one per cabin)

-- Spray foam insulation

-- Energy monitoring system

-- Educational opportunities

The Highlights Foundation is opening its doors for community members to learn about these initiatives which SEEDS helped develop in partnership with the Foundation.

The program is free, but registration is required. Click Here to register.  A Zoom link will be emailed to those who register.

For over 35 years, the nonprofit The Highlights Foundation has been positively impacting the lives of children by amplifying the voices of storytellers who inform, educate, and inspire children to become their best selves.

This is achieved through workshops and events that teach adults how to write and illustrate to children.
