PA Solar Center To Recognize Solar Energy Leaders In Beaver, Washington Counties In Special May 20 Virtual Event

The PA Solar Center will hold an online May 20 Lodestar Awards program to recognize solar energy leaders in Beaver and Washington counties, including businesses, municipalities and organizations from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Recipients will provide a short video to showcase their solar projects, and several speakers will discuss the importance of solar energy.

Honorees will include: Acutran; Beaver Agway; Eaton Corporation; Felician Sisters; Greater Washington County Food Bank; Greenetech Manufacturing; Kretschmann Organic Farm; Pennsylvania Trolley Museum; and Washington County.

Speakers will include:

-- John Vernacchia, Energy Transition Segment Director for Eaton Corporation

-- Don Kretschmann, Owner of Kretschmann Organic Farm

This is the second awards program held by the PA Solar Center to recognize solar energy leaders across the state and more will be held.
